After an amazing first month back in operation, IAAS Music has massive plans for the rest of 2026. This last week has seen the start of our festival season falling into place, with press passes obtained for multiple festivals. So, we’re looking to expand our team!

Writers needed for Festival Coverage!

Are you thinking about a career in music journalism, but don’t know where to start? We are covering a wide range of festivals and concerts across the UK, so all you need is an excitement to support indie music and a competency in writing articles! Here’s an idea of what you will write for IAAS Music:

Interviews: Artists, managers, festival promoters and more - you will get behind the scenes access and will be able to create meaningful content to contribute to IAAS Music and give valuable insight for independent musicians reading around the world!

Live Reviews: Cover as many indie/lesser-known artists at the festival! Watch live sets and write articles about their set. We’re not aiming to write the 60th article about the headliner, but instead giving flowers to the artists who deserve it the most!

Festival Coverage: We want to give a truthful view on every festival we attend. How safe does it feel? How expensive is the food? How disgusting are the toilets by day two? Most importantly; how much does the festival support and promote indie music? Enjoy a weekend of discovering music and interviewing notable music industry professionals, then let us know how it was!

If you’d like to be a part of the IAAS Music writing team by attending and covering festivals, then please email reviews@iaasmusic.com and we will get back to you shortly!
